Bungay is a community-run festival which is at its best when convention goers pitch in to help out – from chopping wood, running workshops (including unusual ones such as watercolour painting), helping with our green policy (we recycle everything we can, provide composting toilets and use solar power where possible) and lending the café a hand with food prep and dish washing.
Volunteering a little of your time to do one or two jobs helps keep Bungay Balls Up a relaxed, clean, safe and most importantly, fun convention.
There’s a job suited to everyone and the shared experience of helping out is a great way to get to know everyone and feel a real part of the festival!
Just say a quick hello to our volunteer co-ordinator when you arrive and they will let you know how you can help out and get involved. Thank you!
